Born and raised in remote parts of India, I was always fascinated with the world of birds. As a child, I would watch the sparrows visitng my house for hours. There was a time when I was so familiar with this sparrow family that I knew all their routine activities. I knew when they would visit the nest which they built in a hole on the stone wall, to feed their offsprings. One fine day, I was so thrilled to see the offspring for the first time who tried to step out of the comfort of the nest and face the world. That day, for the first time I realized that life is so similar for all the living beings.
I have always been amazed by the world of butterflies, birds insects and their journey. That got me interested into wildlife and macro photography. I shoot photos of everything that intrigues me and try to find co-relation between the photos and the experiences in life. It is so enthralling to realize, how we can get inspiration from everything around us. The tiny insects, birds, animals, flowers, waterfalls, sea, ocean, etc has so much to reveal to us. It is said that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but I believe beauty lies in everything and everywhere.
There is always story behind everything. Sometimes we get to listen to them and sometimes we do not. In my work, I try to capture the untold stories of nature and give it my perspective.
